proof that the Gokudera-type always gets violated
Round about June, where Reborn was moving way too slowly for my liking (or should I say, I was not particularly interested in what was happening), I wandered off and discovered Code Geass: R2. I suppose it is enough to say that Code Geass is the kind of show with fanservice for audience on both sides of the gender divide, where even guy reviewers will have cause to wonder why Lelouch and Rolo's memories seem rather gay.

There is a Geass PSP game known as Lost Colours in existence, and the player is the protagonist: a silver-haired amnesiac who reminds me an awful lot of Tsunayoshi Sawada's explosive right-hand man. I am not joking. The best part is also that you get to choose any name you like for this character, so, heh. To tell you why he reminds me so much of Gokudera, though, I'll have to go into the spoilers, so:

All artwork and scans are from [info]aestalitz, who scanned the Lost Colours guide and screenshot the following:

Character design. Need I say more?

AHAHAHA SO CUTE. It's like Gokudera cosplaying in the Ashford Academy uniform.

Why Gokudera? Because:

1. You never see his face in-game (so he could look like anyone you like).

2. What you do see of him is as follows:

So cute. So buddy-buddy with Suzaku. He gets to be gay with Suzaku like you wouldn't believe. Like here, where you go into battle with Suzaku and he goes, "Just come back alive!"

And after you regain part of your memories and realise that surprise, you have an emo past, Suzaku cries. Because you are crying. And then Suzaku apologises for crying and goes off because he has to help make pizza. @_____________@.

that little hat is so funny.

3. Other than what you've seen about him being silver-haired, having great Seme potential but unfortunately always seeming to err on the uke side:

(1) He is half-Japanese, half-Britannian;
(2) His mother is dead.

You find out that the reason he's lost his memories is that his country was at war when he was young, and he, having the same Geass power as Lelouch, Geassed his people into fighting to the death. His mother and younger sister died, and in the aftermath, he Geassed himself into forgetting about everything.

Also. Lloyd Asplund. He reminds me of a

Byakuran-Shouichi-Spanner lovechild.

Look: Byakuran's hair colour, Shouichi's glasses and hairstyle, and Spanner's technical genius and machinery geekism.

JUST LOOK AT HIM WHEN HE TALKS ABOUT MACHINES (and you):

This is Lloyd's face when he says that as you're an important Devicer (basically, Mecha Operator) he won't hand you over to anyone.

... Now if Lloyd was a Millefiore lovechild, I suspect Mukuro had a hand in his upbringing.

How cute:

My list of Mecha Geniuses I Want to See Encounter Each Other In A Crossover One Day are Spanner from Reborn, Graham Spector from Baccano, Lloyd Asplund from Code Geass, and Joshua Lundgren from Gun X Sword.
